Construction is ongoing along the entire length of the Trotter Road project (8th Avenue SW to Hillsdale Avenue) Monday through Friday, 7:00 am until 5:00 pm. Construction will continue through 2018 with completion in July 2019. Trotter Road will remain closed for the duration of the project. Please note this construction, and the intermittent shut-down of reclaimed water, will continue for the length of the project and we apologize for any inconveneience this may cause. Beginning August 20th and continuing through September 21th, residents can expect construction of reclaimed water line and storm water pipe along Trotter Road. There will be intermittent shut-off of reclaimed water service. The new sanitary sewer line is now complete north of Dryer Avenue. The first phase of Trotter Road pavement restoration between 8th Avenue SW and Dryer Road will begin after the reclaimed water and storm water pipe installation are complete.

September 18, 2018 Update:

The contractor installed erosion control measures and silt fencing and continues to remove existing sidewalk along Trotter Road, from Dryer Avenue/16th Avenue SW, to 19th Avenue SW. Construction and installation of new sanitary/wastewater pipe south of Dryer Avenue is expected to begin this week. Work continues on the stormwater installation and reclaimed water connections north of Dryer Avenue. All sanitary wastewater improvements north of Dryer Avenue are now complete. Maintenance of Traffic personnel will remain on-site to assist with traffic flow. The project is currently 37% complete and construction will continue along the entire length of the project which is scheduled for completion in July 2019. Intermittent shut-down of the reclaimed water lines will continue to occur. Road closures and detours will not change. Please use caution.
